Spain Celebrates Historic Decline in Tobacco Consumption

Recent data reveals a significant decrease in tobacco consumption in Spain, reaching the lowest levels in the past 30 years. This trend marks a crucial shift in citizens’ habits and reflects the positive impact of public health policies.

The latest Survey on Alcohol and Other Drugs in Spain (EDADES) found that only 25.8% of Spaniards between the ages of 15 and 64 smoke daily, a notable decline compared to previous years.
