The interception took place as an interstate truck entered Perth, marking the largest bust of its kind in the region. Acting on a mysterious tip-off, authorities successfully confiscated 17,000 nicotine vapes from a truck originating from New South Wales. Clay stated, “As we get on top of one part, they become more sophisticated. Although all non-pharmacy sales of vapes are illegal in Western Australia, numerous shops continue to sell these products through an underground market.
