OXVA XLIM GO Pod Vape Kit Review
OXVA has recently released the XLIM GO, a simple and beginner-friendly pod vape that joins the company’s lineup of XLIM series devices. While it may not have a screen or adjustable wattage like some of its predecessors, the XLIM GO boasts adjustable airflow, a large 1000mAh battery, and an auto-adjusting 30W maximum output. This combination of features makes the XLIM GO an easy-to-use device that still delivers a satisfying vaping experience.

Design and Build Quality
The XLIM GO maintains the familiar tall and slim shape of other OXVA XLIM devices, measuring 113.7mm x 26mm x 14.6mm. Its rounded corners and sides provide a comfortable grip, while the lightweight design adds to its portability. The device is available in eight colors, all featuring OXVA’s unique “skin-pasting tech” – a semi-squishy, rubbery layer with a debossed diamond pattern that enhances grip and gives the device a premium look and feel.
A satin silver band separates the front, back, and top of the XLIM GO, housing the airflow adjustment slider on one side and the Type-C charging port on the other. The airflow slider is well-designed, with a small, round silver knob and three airflow slots that are easy to adjust to your preferred setting.
Pods and Coils
Although the XLIM GO only comes with one 0.8Ω Top Fill Cartridge, it is compatible with all of OXVA’s XLIM pods, including the 0.4Ω, 0.6Ω, and 1.2Ω Top Fill Cartridges, as well as the XLIM V2 Cartridges and prefilled cartridges. However, it is not compatible with the XLIM C pod, which uses replaceable coils.
The coils in the compatible pods are built-in and cannot be removed or replaced, making the XLIM GO an ideal choice for beginners or those who prefer a hassle-free vaping experience. Simply dispose of the pod when it’s finished and replace it with a new one.
The included 0.8Ω pod is recommended for use with nicotine salt e-liquids and MTL vaping, while the 0.4Ω and 0.6Ω pods, available for separate purchase, are better suited for RDL vaping and freebase nicotine e-liquids.
The pods have a dark tint, which can make it slightly challenging to check the e-liquid level without holding the device up to the light. Filling the pods is straightforward, as the fill port is located on the side of the pod and can be accessed without removing the pod from the device.
Features
The OXVA XLIM GO is designed for simplicity and ease of use, making it an excellent choice for beginners or those seeking a no-fuss vaping experience. While it may not have the customizable features of some of its predecessors, the XLIM GO offers adjustable airflow and an auto-adjusting wattage output (5-30W) that adapts to the pod being used. This eliminates the guesswork involved in selecting the right wattage, ensuring a consistently satisfying vape.
Battery Life and Charging
Equipped with a 1000mAh battery, the XLIM GO provides an average battery life for a pod vape. When using the included 0.8Ω pod, users can expect around two days of vaping per charge, which equates to approximately two pods of e-liquid.
The OXVA ‘X’ logo on the front of the device serves as a battery level indicator, lighting up in one of three colors when the user takes a puff:
- Green: 60-100% battery
- Blue: 20-60% battery
- Red: 0-20% battery
The XLIM GO supports pass-through charging, allowing users to vape while the device is plugged in. Using a standard Type-C cable and a wall charger, the device takes approximately one hour to fully recharge. The LED indicator will change colors from red to green as it charges, turning off completely when the charging process is finished.
Performance
During testing, the XLIM GO performed exceptionally well with the included 0.8Ω pod and a 25mg/ml nicotine salt e-liquid (50/50 PG/VG ratio). The device did not experience any leaking, a testament to the quality of OXVA’s Top Fill pods.
The 0.8Ω pod delivered great flavor and a wide range of airflow options, allowing for a personalized MTL vaping experience. By adjusting the airflow, users can achieve anything from a normal MTL draw to a tight MTL vape. While a loose RDL draw is possible by keeping your lips loose while drawing, this pod is best suited for MTL vaping.
The draw strength with the 0.8Ω pod is strong yet smooth, with the auto-adjusting wattage output providing an optimal vaping experience for the pod being used.

Verdict
The OXVA XLIM GO may not be as feature-rich or customizable as some of its predecessors, but it excels as a beginner-friendly, simple-to-use pod vape. With adjustable airflow, a large battery, and compatibility with a variety of OXVA’s XLIM pods, the XLIM GO offers a satisfying and hassle-free vaping experience.
The main drawback of the XLIM GO is that it only includes one pod in the kit. Including an additional pod, such as the 0.6Ω or 0.4Ω option, would have made the device more appealing to a broader range of vapers, particularly those who prefer RDL vaping.
Despite this minor shortcoming, the OXVA XLIM GO is a solid choice for beginners or anyone seeking a simple, flavorful, and reliable pod vape.
