Lost Vape Ursa Baby Pro Pod Kit Review
Lost Vape has steadily been making its mark in the vaping industry with innovative pod systems that blend portability and performance. The Ursa Baby Pro is the latest addition to their impressive lineup, touting premium build quality and satisfying flavor in a petite package. Let’s dive into this mini powerhouse of a pod kit.
Overview of the Ursa Baby Pro Pod Kit
The Lost Vape Ursa Baby Pro is a compact yet capable pod device, measuring just 46.5 x 15.2 x 71.6mm yet able to deliver up to 25W of power output. It’s equipped with a long-lasting 900mAh battery, uses refillable pods with a generous 2.5ml e-liquid capacity, and features an array of features to customize your vaping experience.
With the Ursa Baby Pro, you get the versatility to vape both nicotine salts and freebase e-liquids. The replaceable coils provide a choice between a 0.6ohm pod for direct lung hits or a 0.8ohm pod for a tighter mouth-to-lung draw. Adjustable airflow further lets you fine-tune airflow to suit your style. OLED displays keep tabs on wattage, battery life, resistance, and puff count.
Made of durable zinc alloy, the Ursa Baby Pro sports a premium look and feelaccented by faux leather patches. Despite its petite form factor, this device means business. Let’s look under the hood to see what makes this mini pod kit mightily impressive.

Controls and OLED Display
A single firing button on the Ursa Baby Pro clicks to fire and also accesses menu options. With a few clicks, you can lock/unlock the device, enter wattage settings, and reset the puff counter. The 0.42″ OLED screen clearly displays essential vaping metrics including:
- Set Wattage
- Battery Life
- Resistance
- Puff Counter
Default wattage settings vary based on the coil you use. The 0.6ohm pod presets to 16W while the 0.8ohm pod defaults to 9W. I found 19W and 12W to work best for me with the respective coils. The intuitive menu lets you easily tweak wattage to suit your preference.
Pods and Coils
The Ursa Baby Pro includes both fixed coil pods and empty pods for replaceable coils. This provides flexibility in choosing between convenience or affordability.
0.6ohm Fixed Coil Pod
The 0.6ohm fixed coil pod contains an integrated coil so you simply replace the entire pod when the coil burns out. While pricier, this option ensures optimal flavor consistency since the pods undergo rigorous quality control. The lower resistance produces dense vapor at higher wattages.
0.8ohm Replaceable Coil Pod
The empty pod allows you to use the included 0.8ohm UB Mini S1 replaceable coil. You insert fresh coils into the reusable pod shell. Replaceable coils cost less over time but flavors may vary slightly between coils. The 0.8ohm coil caters to mouth-to-lung vaping at lower wattages.
Both pods hold 2.5ml (2.0 for TPD version) of e-juice and attach securely using gold-plated contacts. The side fill port seals tightly with a plug to prevent messy leaks. With two types of coils plus variable wattage, you can customize between a loose MTL inhale or more intense restricted DTL hit.
Filling the Pods
Refilling the pod is easy, Just slide open the silicone plug on the side to access the fill port. Use a narrow-tipped bottle to fill up the pod. Just be careful not to overfill. Snap the plug back into place before re-inserting the pod into the device.
One minor gripe is that the fill port’s location makes it tricky to fill the pod to maximum capacity. Placing the fill port more toward the side would improve the filling experience. But otherwise, the side fill design is convenient for quickly topping up your e-juice.
Leak-Free Refilling
The Ursa Baby Pro pods seal tightly so you don’t have to worry about leaks creating a mess. The portal plugs shut securely while the gold-plated contacts prevent seepage into the battery housing.
During three weeks of testing, I encountered no leaks whatsoever with either the replaceable or fixed coil pods. The leak-resistant design gives peace of mind when refilling on the go.
Adjustable Airflow Control
A sliding control lets you adjust airflow to taste without having to swap out pods. At the minimum setting, you get a nice restricted lung inhale similar to smoking a cigarette. Opening up the airflow creates a airier, more direct lung hit.
I would have preferred an even tighter MTL draw on the lower end. And the maximum airflow could also be more open for lighter, airier hits. But the adjustment range should accommodate both MTL and restricted DTL vaping. Having the ability to tweak draw resistance adds to the versatility.
Long-Lasting 900mAh Battery
The 900mAh battery capacity provides ample vaping time between charges. With the lower resistance 0.6ohm pod, expect around a full day’s use before needing to recharge. The higher 0.8ohm coil will extend battery life a bit longer between charges.
Recharging the built-in cell is fast and convenient using the USB-C port. The 2A quick charging allows the battery to rejuice in just 45 minutes. The port is conveniently located so the device can stand upright while charging.
Flavor and Vapor Production
With its range of power output and coil options, the Ursa Baby Pro caters to both nicotine salts and freebase e-juice vaping. The 0.6ohm pod produces dense, flavorful vapor when used with nicotine salts or lower nicotine e-juices. The 0.8ohm pod delivers a tighter draw that works well for higher nicotine salts.
I noticed rich Notes and nuances coming through in the flavor with both pods. The coil options let you customize between intense direct lung hits or satisfying mouth-to-lung puffs. Vapor stays cool and smooth across the output range.
Comparing the URSA Baby Pro with URSA Baby
The original URSA Baby shares much of the Pro version’s DNA, from the petite size to compatibility with Ursa Nano pods. But the Pro sets itself apart through premium accents like the leather panels and zinc alloy chassis.
The Pro also bumps up battery capacity to 900mAh for potentially longer runtime between charges. It includes a display for at-a-glance monitoring and ships with both pod types to provide added flexibility.
However, the standard URSA Baby features an innovative transparent shell permitting a visible look inside. Its plastic body does feel slightly less luxurious compared to the Pro though. Performance-wise, both deliver excellent flavor when paired with the Ursa Nano pods.
For vapers seeking ultimate portability and an affordable ticket to Lost Vape’s pod system lineup, the standard URSA Baby is a great choice. But the URSA Baby Pro offers a more upscale experience for just a bit more investment.
Verdict on Ursa Baby Pro Review
The Lost Vape Ursa Baby Pro delivers robust performance and satisfying flavor in a petite yet powerful package. With its adjustable airflow, OLED screen, array of features, and 25W max output, it performs well above its weight class. Pod and coil options let you customize between restricted DTL or MTL hits.
