SGF Chief Executive Dr. Pete Cheema emphasized the importance of the updated guide, stating, “There are big changes coming down the road for retailers regarding the sale of vape and tobacco products, including a full ban on the sale of single-use vapes from 1st June 2025.”

He added, “We have therefore prepared this updated guide to our previous version published first in 2016 and then an updated version in 2023, so that retailers have a useful resource to help ensure they are familiar with and understand the key elements of the laws on the sale of tobacco products and e-cigarettes, which are currently in force.”
