Russia may introduce a full ban on the use of electronic cigarettes, vapes, and heated tobacco systems outside of private homes and specially designated smoking areas, according to Senator Olga Epifanova. The chairperson of the Social Democratic Union of Women of Russia stated that such restrictions are highly likely to appear in the coming years, with a pilot project for this measure already launching in the Nizhny Novgorod region.
